How much does professional upholstery cleaning cost in London?
Unlike some services that offer blind quotes, we believe in transparency—quoting only for what we’ve seen ensures fairness and avoids surprises for our customers. To provide an accurate quote, we need to see photos of your sofa and understand your specific requirements, expectations, and concerns. Once we’ve reviewed the photos, we’ll send you a quote within a few minutes.
What cleaning methods do you use for upholstery? (Steam cleaning vs. dry cleaning)
We offer both hot water extraction (commonly known as steam cleaning, shampooing or low moisture cleaning) and dry solvent cleaning.
Hot water extraction is highly effective for deep cleaning and stain removal.
Dry solvent cleaning is best for delicate fabrics like viscose, which cannot tolerate water without losing softness and lustre. While dry cleaning is great for light maintenance, it is not effective for tough stains.
Which is the best upholstery cleaning method?
The best method depends on the fibre type and specific cleaning requirements. For most soft furniture, we recommend a low-moisture cleaning method combined with neutral pH products. For fabrics containing viscose and Tencel and don't have specific stains, dry solvent cleaning is the safest option.
Do you clean velvet sofas?
Yes we do. We have cleaned many velvet sofas from Loaf, Sofa.com, Made.com, Romo etc throughout the years , and we have achieved great results. Check our Instagram page for photos of our work
How long does it take for a sofa or armchair to dry after cleaning?
On average it takes between 4 and 6 hours. Drying times vary depending on the fabric type and room conditions. Some fibres are more absorbent than others, and as they dry, humidity in the room increases. If the humidity gets too high, it can slow down drying and may cause a musty smell. To speed up the process, we recommend good ventilation or using a dehumidifier.
Can you remove pet stains and odours from my sofa?
Yes, we can! We specialise in removing pet stains and odours effectively. However, it’s crucial that stains haven’t been treated with home remedies or high-pH products, as these can cause colour loss and make the stain much harder—sometimes impossible—to remove. If in doubt, reach out to us first!
